I’m a field ecologist with research interests in vegetation ecology, historical ecology and biological invasions.

Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow at Clemson University (USA) and Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC), in Brazil. We are trying to understand how and why some invasive plants become superinvaders across the Americas.

I am also a collaborator at the laboratories of Human Ecology and Ethnobotany (ECOHE), Laboratory of Diversity and Conservation (divEcon) and Lab on Ecology of Biological Invasions, Management and Conservation (LEIMAC) at UFSC.
